Thanks Kev . . . Yea things are slowly looking up. Im amazed though even though i have know idea who you all are, being strangers and all in the bigger picture of things that you all have helped in your own little way.

The weird thing is...even though it's been a long time since the Benny Hill shows were made...much of the "good stuff" in the shows still can't be aired on U.S. television!!!:(

Or if it is "air-able" on some channels at some times of the evening (since some of the rules seem to have been relaxed a bit compared to say 10-20 years ago)...the show (I guess) is old enough that TV stations simply aren't airing it because the show is old.

I haven't seen a Benny Hill show on U.S. TV in many years!:(

Oh they don't show them here now either, not even on UK Gold, but there was never any censorship here.
How odd that in the US they will censor what is basically mild tittilation at best, not anything like even the mildest porn, and yet HBO can quite happily air (the astounding) Six Feet Under, which had more than it's fair share of sex scenes, both gay and straight.
For sure things have changed in 20 years, no doubt, but censoring Benny Hill is just so funny to me (funnier than the program was!)

Oh, yeah sorry Brent, thread hijack gone mad, but I'm sure you'll enjoy reading it.
