Any idea why iPhone images and videos don't all open on Windows 11 computer?

I take photos and videos for work using an iPhone 13. However, I am importing those images and videos into a Windows 11 computer using a USB cable. Recently, I've found that some of the videos and images will not open on the Windows computer.

Has anyone here run into this problem? Did you find a resolution?

Thanks!

It might be because your PC doesn't recognise the HEIC format which is widely used on Apple products.

To prove this, try taking photos in JPEG format and see if that works. (or converting HEIC to JPEG)

It's a start. Please post back your results.

The Windows 11 computer does open the HEIC format. It's the JPEGS and Mov files that are the problem.
