You're right Randy, I should have thought of that myself.

The spinner drive with Mojave is formatted as APFS.

One interesting thing I noted when I booted up on Mojave is that my Mac keyboard and mouse is not recognized.
Turned out that happened because I had connected it via a USB 3 hub.

El Camino had no problem with that but Mojave does.
