I didn't get it either. Here's my reasons:

1.) its a bit expensive for such few changes.Th jump from OS 9 to OS X was huge compared to this.

2.) OS 10.4 still works great for me.

3.) I feel as though I have already forsaken my tag as it is.

I am not worried about bugs as I am sure Apple will do software updates for the bugs it finds for free

I didn't get Leopard because I had to go to work at 5. Maybe this weekend. Maybe next month, I may not feel like it right away.:D

I just installed mine - no issues but I do notice the system jerks and stalls periodically....

The change from OS8 to OS9 was on par with 10.4 to 10.5. This isn't a whole new OS, it's an upgrade to an existing one.

I didn’t get Leopard because…

I don’t have a nice home for a Leopard yet…
Only a 1998 Gateway machine.

But like the vigilant leopard, I’ll bide my time…
Learning from others here on the forums.

And when the dust settles and the new Macs arrive with Leopard onboard,
I’ll spring into action… And let the Leopard in through our front gate!

Cheers!

Because Tiger works just fine.

(Oh, and no need to pay for the anti-global-warming edition...on a notebook, you can get the same features just by setting your Energy Saver settings to "longer battery life!")

You should buy the Super Duper Home Deluxe Pro Maximum efficiency output anti-Global Warming edition.

I did.
Would that edition work on this 64-meg-RAM jellybean running 9.2, if I load it with Virtual PC and Windows 95, then a virtual engine running on top of 95, maybe something like Pear, that would boot and run Leopard?

Or would I need more RAM?

I didn't get Leopard cause I have an upgraded Sawtooth system that technically should be able to use it but due to the rumor that OS X checks model number, not processor speed I didn't want to spend the $$ yet if it won't work.

No, you'd need to reduce the RAM....you can only use 16Mb in the above scenario.

CS3 and ALL of it's components are working fine for me on 10.5. There was a reported issue about installing CS3 on 10.5, but that apparently is questionable as there are mixed reports.

I didn't get Leopard because:

-There is no need for it to exist. My Mac is running fine.
-The Leopard Dock looks like @$$
-Apple has a nasty habit of incompetence these days. They screwed a lot of people with their iTunes, Quicktime, firmware and even OS updates. I don't trust them.
-More bells and whistles than actual usefulness.
-Might as well wait until next year's OS which will floor Leopard.
