Hi guys new user here after buying a brand new macbook pro (running lion).
So far i have just been getting used to it after switching from vista.
I had a little issue earlier and was wondering if anyone has heard of this issue.
I was left my macbook for a short period of time which caused it to go to sleep, this in itself is not a big deal but after i tried to 'wake' it back up my password no longer worked. I tried several times and then switched it off and back on again causing it to reboot. This resulted in my password working again which allowed me to log in once again. Since then I have put it to sleep to see if this would happen again and so far it has not.
Is this a one off or has anyone heard of this before?
I am a little worried as I have only had it since yesterday and I have not even added any additional apps of software that may of caused this issue.
Do I need to pay a visit to the apple centre where I bought it or am I just worrying over nothing.
Thanks for your time everyone
