Able to sync to Mac and Windows?

Can I sync the same palm (actually Treo 270) to both my Mac and Windows computer simultaneously? Will anything from 1 corrupt the other?

Running Panther on Mac and XP home on PC.

I sync my Tungsten C with with both windows and OS X with no problems
