A new UI for Mac OS is here!

and while it is very attractive, our older users are going to hate it. Lots of white text on light blue backgrounds. Not a lot of contrast.

So much for my writing and complaining to Apple about their lights colored text on light backgrounds, they started using years ago and have progressively been getting worse, ride along with my macular degeneration, which has also been getting worse over the last few years.

I wonder if they have put any effort into improving their dictation and text-to-speech software. It would be nice if it could at least catch up to some third-party extensions I have to rely on when their own software doesn't work as it should.

But I guess their macOS GUI takes precedence over function and user usability. Too bad. I guess that's progress as far as Apple and its developers are concerned.

Anyway, I'm sure the new MacOS GUI will look pretty and thanks for the heads up warning.
