No where on this forum is there a place where I can enter my gender in my profile. It would be nice if you could click on someones profile and see their gender if they choose to fill that information out. If I have missed this option please forgive me.

HA! To be honest, I am getting sick of calling people the wrong genders in posts. I thought MacHeadCase was a man for months.

KoDorSean, I understood immediately! I've wondered about this as well. Many usernames and avatars offer little help in determining gender.

Yep I agree, I'm getting sick and tired of trying to hit on Blokes.

I think it'd be a good idea how about this vbulletin mod. Am assuming it does what it says on the tin as I haven't seen it in action.
What do you say admins?

I know several women who will not identify their gender in online forums because of bad previous experiences.

A female member of this forum whom I know in real life (as the kids say) has mostly remained a lurker because she got a little creeped out by the "thanks to the women of M-F for being here" thread of a few weeks ago.

I'm not judging-- I just think it's not critical to know a poster's gender.

I think it should be an option if the user wants to add it.. if not fine.. I just like the idea of having the choice..

Yes, KoDorSean, again I agree. It'd be nice for there to be the option.

I bet baggss is just trying to make MHC do a "reveal," as they say on the makeover shows!

LOL, MHC is gonna be MAD... ;)

Maybe, and I'll apologize if it's offended, but some clarification would be nice...
