Hi,

I have a Macbook Pro 2.16GHz, 2GB ram. Everywhere I look it says that the airport extreme wireless card can be enabled to use the 802.11 n. However, when I use the enabler it states 'Your computer does not meet the hardware requirements for this update.' Can anyone tell me why I cannot enable this feature or how?

Do you have the Core Duo processor or the Core2Duo? The former does not have 802.11n capability as Apple added that feature in its newer Core2Duo line.

If you don't know, click on the Apple logo in the upper left hand corner and select "About This Mac". It should then tell you whether it is Core Duo or Core2Duo
