I'm looking for a company dealing with 3d software and desktop applications who work on different operating systems and provide assistance when necessary (I'm no expert obviously so if something goes wrong I'd really appreciate some help). Any ideas?

I've recently come across a well experienced company that seems to be what you're looking for - Ortosoft (you can google them). I've just started cooperation with them and so far so good. With the technologies they use (C++, OpenGL & VTK , Qt and wxWidgets etc.) they can develop software that harmonises with different systems.
