[QUOTE="plyle, post: 1898372, member: 409896"] I'm sorry so you are saying that since I don't fully charge my MBP this is the problem? I'm not trying to get into a war with words with you and appreciate your comments but if not fully charging a Mac will cause it to crash would be a serious issue in my mind. I'm an electrical engineer and use battery-powered devices all the time. While I don't have multiple MBP's to test, I see that holding the charge to 80% on a Lithium-ion battery will typically double the life of the battery. There are numerous articles on this subject. I also agree that Apple states the laptop learns how to charge itself but I don't see any harm in holding the max charge to 80%. My new MBP is so battery efficient that I can use it all day and then only charge it for 1/2-hour or so to bring it back to 80%. I charged my MBP for 2 nights before putting it to sleep and it didn't crash, so I'm becoming more confident that it is charging while asleep that is causing the problem. In every case the main error message in the crash report is "Failed to resume ACIOPHY from S2R: 0xe00002d6" and I can find no links to ACIOPHY on the Internet plus I've asked Apple support and they didn't have a clue.
