Hi, I'm looking for some fun over the winter and was thinking about getting KOTOR.
I have a 2006/7 macbook with 2g ram and 2ghz processor, - the white one - the app store says intel integrated video chipsets (which I have - GMA 950 i think) will not run it.

Will the App store version run on my computer?
is there a workaround like buying the original boxed game and patching it?
Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks!

If the App Store says you can't run it, then you can't run it. There is no patch or workaround. I was about to suggest running the PC version under Crossover Games, but a brief check shows that even that is not an option. The problem is that those integrated chipsets are just awfully underpowered and unsuitable for 3D-rendered gaming. No hacking or patching will change that.
