Hi I recently bought a Macbook pro on the 3rd April from the apple store and yesterday a new one came out, the one I bought was priced at £918 (13inch) and the new 13inch is £999 but with better specs, I was wondering if I could get any compensation but I don't necessarily need the more specs so I don't really want to pay any more but am I still eligible for any compensation or even a free upgrade or anything along those lines

Thanks

No, no free upgrade - no compensation.

You can keep the one you have or take it back and get the new one along with paying the difference in price.
