Happy I was!

FYI: I just received this email from the ebay seller re: my Tiger software.

"There has been a slight issue with the international shipping pricing on my listing. I have contacted eBay and they have not been able to solve the problem. [I did not mention it in my response to you the other day simply because I had not been fully aware of the issue] As a result, in order for me to send the shipment out, I have no choice but to ask you to send 10.00 USD via PayPal. If this does not run well with you, I'll be glad to issue you a full refund.
I apologize for the inconvenience."

I sent him the extra but it seems a bit like extortion. Anywho . . . just thought this might serve a a caution to anyone else thinking of ordering software off ebay.

Um, well, did you think about calling Apple? If they had it, you could have cancelled the order and gotten your money back.

Just out of curiosity, we are talking about Leopard, not Tiger, right?

Your subject line says Tiger. I hope that's not what you've ordered. Tiger = 10.4 (which you have), Leopard = 10.5 (what you need).

(fingers crossed)

Ya . . . Leopard it is. I've been using Tiger so long, I'm getting stripes. You are absolutely correct . . . it is Leopard for PPC that I've ordered. Too many cats to keep track of here . . . I'm really a dog guy.

Thanks for the clarification.
