Without any "comment"...it's difficult to know what the concern is.
Firstly...just went to the same URL...and had no issue connecting (about 70 minutes after post #1).
2nd...also consider that like any website...Apple does maintenance & updates on it's website (which may bring it down or temporally interrupt access)...Apple's website may experience the occasional glitch...and there is also the chance that some "bad people" may be trying to bring Apple's site down.
I didn't. I thought it was a request for help, was about to give some suggestions when the rest of the thread came up. It's really hard (actually, impossible) to convey emotions in text without some clues.
Sorry...I guess in my zeal to be helpful answering member posts/questions...I sometimes miss the joke.
"Dry humor" I don't think translates well to a word-only communication medium (without some sort of clue). In real life...we would be able to look at a persons facial expressions or body language...and maybe get some clue the person was kidding.
Also...sometimes you post serious questions/issues...so it's difficult to know if you're being serious or kidding.
Anyways...probably just me. Some folks got the joke right away!
Mike, to some it was a question. I got the joke because I studied the pic you posted. Please don't take it personally. Most here are so used to helping people they might miss the joke! Grin
I was probably being extra "Geeky"...since I was mainly focusing in on the statement "too many redirects occurred"...which isn't good for a website most of the time.
Sorry, but I'm with Jake. I too thought it was asking for help of some sort with not being able to access the Apple site. Apparently, Nick thought the same thing according to his first reply.
