Several years ago I used an application named YTD to download videos from YouTube but for some reason it no longer works. Can somone suggest a way to accomlish this task

I have been using ClipGrab as well - for many years actually.

Works so well for me that I have sent the developer a contribution several times.

This is also a developer who is very responsive if for some reason a video won't download using his software, but that only seems to happen if the video uses some proprietary playback method - downloadingYouTube videos always worked for me
