Oh jeez, what did I start!! :closed:

Anyway, I found a very informative article about the Swastika, it's origins and meanings in different religions and cultures.
It also includes a picture of the Nazi banner, comparing it to the Swastika images hype.it posted the right one seems to be the Nazi one.
As I wasn't really sure about which one it was, I've checked it on Wikipedia, and this is what I found:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika

I hope this closes this off topic dicussion...

And for the record, Abs, I didn't call you or anybody else a morron, and don't think you are one...but if you like provocation (which you obviously do), don't wonder when people react in a way you might not like.

Guys, let's remember to lay off the attacks a bit since some seem to be getting personal. Let's also lay off the nazi talk and the posting of swastikas since that can be extremely offensive to some people.

Yes, I know. But if you take a look at the link I've posted, you'll see that the "bad" Swastika is turned the same way. The Swastika in itself isn't a bad symbol, no matter which way it's turned. Only since the Nazi regime it has become that bad image. That's actually what I wanted to make clear: The Swastika by itself is not a bad sign.

But I agree with Schweb, we should stop this...
