Windows 7 Parallels

Is there a Parallels for WINDOWS 7.

And shouid i purchase it since i am already using parallels that has microsoft XP.

7 on parallels

You should be able to run any OS on Parallels. You could run Linux or Ubuntu or XP or Vista so probably 7 also. It just creates a virtual machine of whatever you want to install. At least that's the way I understand it.

I would say save your money. Windows 7 is a pretty nice OS (finally) and I have it on my MBP through Bootcamp. However, since you will be running it through a VM app, the OS (as you can probably see with XP) will be a little sluggish since it's essentially running through an app on your machine. Unless you need Windows 7 specifically for something, I would stick with Windows XP to get the job done. If you want Windows 7, I would recommend putting it through Bootcamp and use it natively.
