Hello ... I have installed Windows 7 on a partition on my new Snow Leopard MacBookPro 13". Everything went well. I need to use a graphic software that is only available for the PC.
I just found out that the equipment I need to connect to my computer running Windows has a cable to download the designs I create but the cable probably has the old serial DB25 plug on the end, not USB.
I still see Serial DB25 to USB converters available online. Do you think these would work considering I am using my Mac as a PC?
I have no idea if using my Mac as a Windows machine is still being controlled by Snow Leopard ( I know that Snow Leopard installed drivers for Windows to recognize the keyboard, trackpad etc) or if when running under Windows, it's completely independent of the MacOS. Thanks in advance.
