Why is the same video two different sizes?

Helloo! I took a 30-second iPhone video of a family event which showed up as normal on my iMac desktop computer Photos app (through iCloud).
Then I took that same iPhone video and sent it to my iMac via AIRDROP, which showed up nicely in my download folder.

But the first video shows as being 39.8 MB while the same video airdropped to my same Mac shows it as 62.6 MB.

Why is that? Shouldn't they be the same resolution, codec, format etc?

Your Mac's Specs
2022 Mac Studio M1 Max, 2023 M2 MBA
Click on both the files and choose Get Info. Check to see if they are the same dimension and other things? Also check on the encoding to see what it is. The format should be MOV. I can't imagine that the video is being transcoded during copy.
