When does "Music that I like" end?

Every evening, I tap my HomePod and it plays music that SIRI thinks I like for about 4 hours. Sometimes it just continues where it last left off, sometimes SIRI tells me that it is playing music selected for me. I have no idea how it decides which option.

Every once in a while it stops playing after finishing a song. Usually it will be months between the last time it stopped, but this week it did that on successive days.

I'd like it if it always continued where it left off and never ended.

How do I control how Siri plays my music?

It happens to me all the time. I usually play my station or Discovery station. When I finish my work at the end of the day and go to sleep, the next morning it will continue to play the song where I have left off. But only that song, then I need to skip one song to play it further. Or quiet the app on a Mac and reopen it.
