I'm sure I've seen that it's possible to use an actual partition on an HDD or SSD instead of a virtual disk to install and run Windows in a VM, but I've found it surprisingly difficult to clarify which suites support it via an online search...
I'd appreciate any insights into how stable/useful such set-ups are, and any suggestions of the best options; or, indeed, if you think VMs aren't worth the hassle & I'd be better-off just Boot Camping it (assuming I can; I'll make a separate thread about that...).
