I got this tetra betta (type of fish) several years ago and a friend decided it's name was Samurai Sam. We were living in Japan at the time. I liked it and used it for my G3 powerbook. When I got another G3 powerbook (first was an American model, second Jpns, I named it Aikido Ike to keep the theme going. I now have a Blackbook named Ninja Nina. There will eventually be a Bushido Butch, Judo Jude and Kendo Ken. I also have an external hard disk called Ronin Ronny.

And to answer the question "What's the point?," it helps to give the computers names if you're running a network. I suppose one could go with names like computer 1, 2, 3, etc or server, but where's the fun in that, I ask?
