I have a iPad Pro 3rd gen and a iPhone 12 min. My iPad Pro has cellular so it can create a track, but not very strong. I use the personal hotspot from my iPhone 12. And that works great to create a track on Gaia GPS on my iPad Pro. My question is; if i loose signal on my phone will the personal hotspot still work for creating a track on my iPad Pro? thanks teqmter

When you lose service, there will be nothing for the hotspot to use for internet access.
