Vintage PowerBook keyboard and trackball interface???

Hi, sorry, noob here...

Has anyone ever converted a PB keyboard and mouse to USB?

My goal is to gut an old, broken PB and put a Raspberry Pi in it while maintaining the original form factor of the PB... with a functional keyboard and trackball.

No suggestions here, but you might want to try over at www.macrumors.com. They have an entire forum dedicated to vintage Macs. Someone over there should be able to help.
