I've got a charger from an old Mac on which I stuck a label 'MPB 2018'. Moreover, there are a couple of other old iPad and iPhone charges lying around. Can I safely use these with any newer Macs if necessary? Thanks in advance.

It might depend on the age of the charger and the model of the newer Mac. If the connector fits, it's probably safe, although also probably will be slower to charge. If it doesn't fit the connector, I would not use it.

As long as the charger provides the necessary level of juice to the new devices, yes.
