That won't help.

As I've suggested twice, take it to an expert.

From what I've read and gotten out of the topic, everything you do is coming out as un-doable, or useless. Taking it to an Apple Expert would be the best option, they know the inside workings of your computer. Even if they don't know what's wrong with your computer, they can easily figure it out.

Haha, your finder is in an infinite loop. Happened to me too. Get your Snow Leopard disc, and perform an archive and install. It will keep your files and preferences while reverting your system files to a fresh version of aqua.
