Hi all-
I'm admittedly a PC guy trying to learn Mac for the sake of my wife. She has an iMac running the latest 10.7 OS. I installed a new networked HP Laserjet printer (P2035n). I went into System, Printers, and clicked the + sign to add a printer. The Mac saw it on the network (I'm assuming - Bonjour) and when I attempt to add it, the machine tells me it can download the software from Apple Update. I tell it to proceed, it attempts, and then fails, telling me that "The software for the printer is currently unavailable."
I went to HP's site, thinking I could download a Mac driver. It tells me to go to the Apple Menu, choose Software Update, and download something there. When I try that, the system tells me that the software is fully updated.
Any ideas on how I can get this HP Laser P2035n to be an installed printer on my wife's Mac?
Thanks in advance!
Shane
