what if i removed the fan and cut the socket out?
Tripped ove the sound cable, it snapped leaving tip inside! solutions?

if not, if I cut the socket, can i use the front socket? also, if this not possible, can i use an imic or similiar while the piece is still in the jack? thanks

it is hollow but the piece inside is not..will imic work with the piece inside? overide?? if i can manage to cut the sovcket, will the front one still work?
