My LaserJet 1200 is directly connected to my Windows 7 PC by USB. It is shared, and I can select it on my iMac, but it goes in to the queue and stalls with this message.

When I first set it up with an account on my win7 machine it printed flawlessly. Now I can't get this message to go away.

Any clues?

Thanks.

Go into System Preferences > Printers and Scanners > select the printer in the l.h.pane and hit the little (-) button. Reboot and hit the little (+) button and see if there is any joy.
