"The village's unusual name is said to stem from an episode in which a store owner cheated a customer, gouging him for an extra fifty cents. Some sources claim the transaction involved a watermelon, others a rooster."

you could live here...
I was raised in a town with 3,000 people (at that time), and it was broken into two distinct parts. (The mind fairly boggles.) Now I live in a county with a million people. A part of me says Nimrod, MN might be doable with a reliable broadband connection. Another part of me says I'd last about two seconds there.

Anybody from Home?

"When Home was plotted in 1901 it had increased in size to 217 acres and had become home to anarchists, communists, food faddists, freethinkers, nudists, and others who did not fit in with mainstream society."

again. awesome.

Just taken, 12:02AM. Reading and posting at M-F and listening to Pink Floyd, "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" via iTunes.

It is. It's very comfortable. Just finished a few extra hours of work at 11PM before doing some serious forum posting. Problem is I need to get up in about 5 hours for work. Ugh. Eh, such is life. No complaints of any substance. ^_^
