Since I never knew that home computers existed until 1999, (just computers that you see in businesses or in sci-fi movies) just think how fast and awesome home computers were to those that owned them in the mid-late 70s - especially kids. Now compare them to what we have this year, this month. Wow!

And if I remember correctly, the first computer ever built was back in 1946, and I think it was 10ft tall, 30ft wide and 6ft from front to back.

some good 'ol days

i remember having a mouse shaped like a soap box, we we're using a joystick with just one button on the upper left corner (like atarri), and a skinny metallic joystick. as far as os, i cant remember.


fast forward>>>>>>> after that never touched a computer again, all i used is a typewriter, then started using a pc running dos around 1989-1990ish, and i use Wordstar for my reports. and have to save every few minutes. i remember keyeing "Control K then B" before and after the text to make it Bold and "K then I" to make it italics . hahha using a green crt and those floppy 5.25inch, ahhh i miss those grinding sound from the floppy reader. :headphone :dive: :dummy: :doctor:

I saw the Mac/PC commercials. They're just now begining to air in my city. Funny how Bill stole whatever it was from Apple back in the day, and now PCs are the ones that are really suffering with all kinds of problems and Mac with much much less - if anything.
