I had major issues when I was using it on my parent's moto wireless g router over The weekend. The connection would drop or was slow. As soon as I got back to my house, with a dual configuration apple airport extreme and express wireless n it was perfect. Same thing at work, all apple n routers and not a hitch. Must be something with certain brand routers IMO.

I have a full apple Network here from my Mac Pro on out, and have issues with the connection spiking and dropping on my 32gb Ipad. Never fully goes out, but the fluctuation is definitely there.

No issues with my Imac,Macbook or iphone (s)

Return it?

I've used mine in a few different places with different types of connections and haven't had aw problem.

Maybe someone should add or start a poll to see how many peole ar having issues. So far from the responses here it doesn't seem like the issue is very big.

Mine's fine...been using it all over the house, Apple store before leaving with it, Panera, car dealership while waiting for oil change, grandparents house on Sunday, friend's house....I've had to take it everywhere because everyone I know wants to check it out.

Zero issues here. Wifi has been flawless and reconnects every time I am back in range of my home.

I've noticed signal strength fluctuating both at work and home (Airport Extreme and Express) but haven't had any dropped connections yet.

What teed me of (pardon my language) is waking up, picking up the paper and seeing: iPad has wifi issues. So I come to the forum to check it out and it appears that the issues people have are all tnx to old hardware or improper settings.

Sorry for this. Just had a bad wake up moment.

No Issues

Bought it in Ft. Lauderdale store on Monday (last one!). Worked there, at in-laws home with wifi and home in Connecticut on my Apple wifi network.

1. No need to use bad language for starters.

2. Every piece of electronic tech made will have an issue at some point. They are only made by humans and shumans are not perfect. But in saying that the number of issues with the ipad is very small when compared to any other non Apple product.

3. And if there is an issue with your ipad, then you can use Apple's world class customer service and they will most times fix or replace your ipad for free. Apple go out of their way to make sure their customer service is second to none.

Everybody having problems with the new ipad? Mine is already gone for repairs. Wifi would not work and I hear it is a wide spread problem that Apple knew about before sales.

Thanks for the link dtravis. Anand gets it right, without the gushing some of the initial reviewers have done, as usual. There's not a whole lot more insight I could add to what he's laid out there. He's touched on practically every drawback I have with the iPad (except for trying to mod a vB forum from it).
