Hello all,
I have a macbook pro and a mac. I only have one ethernet connection to the internet and have GoToMeeting setup to broadcasting out to a remote location out of town. I would like to use the macbook pro's webcam but then use the more powerful mac to broadcast using the internet.
Options would be to somehow use bluetooth to port the webcam to the mac, or setup a broadcast wifi spot that both the macs could connect to.
Any advice would be appreciated!

You cannot share the Webcam in that manner short of connecting the two machines through a video sharing app like Facetime, Skype, and so on.

Are both the Macs in the same location? If so, I'm confused by the "one Ethernet connection" part of your statement. All of us only have a single Ethernet connection to the Internet, that connection just happens to go to a router that shares that single connection with other devices through Ethernet cables or WiFi..

There is no wifi at this location. So by one ethernet cable I mean it goes straight into a router. So only one computer has internet at a time. If both of my machines had access to the internet, it would be simple.

Which router are you using? Virtually all of the recent ones have WiFi built-in in addition to additional physical Ethernet ports for wired access..

Im not sure on that. We're at a camp situation which they seem to be pretty low key. The two computers are right next to eachother. So I may try to use the build in wi-fi spot on the computer getting internet
