Have you tried resizing in Preview via the Tools Menu>Adjust Size...?Trying to get my wallpaper to work on my Kenwood head unit. No matter what size of .jpg photo I upload, it’s TOO BIG

I don't know if this solution would help or if it includes your Kenwood head unit model, but they suggest a method but I also noted they also said one must use a jeg format. Anyway, check it out if you like and maybe hopefully it will work for you:

Thant made it worse. I kept increasing the size (.jpg) and no still change. Still way to large
