Here's a simple solution: don't apply TouchWiz. Problem solved.
I find it amusing that everyone seems to think that this is Google's/Android's fault. To quote the post

I'm not defending Android - don't own a device with it and probably won't for the foreseeable future. That said, unlike the vapidity that is rampant in that thread, I can see the positives and negatives of both Android and iOS.
