Is it possible to run a application in this case the rkhunter from the command line ?
It is installed but in the installed version they left one option out.
And if it is possible how can I do it ?
Because if do it in the way I am use in linux namely rkhunter --propupd
it tells me command not found

How did you install it? Where is it located? Have you tried executing it using the full path? My guess is that it isn't found because it wasn't in your path.

Well it is now in application
I install it using the script which was written to install it in OS X
I try to run it as root on the command line
AS you know it was Linux application
And as I said I can run it from application but not from the command line , and running it from application than there is one option missing

Assuming it is called rkhunter.app, try soemthing like the following: sudo /Applications/rkhunter.app/Contents/MacOS/rkhunter. The last part may not be correct as I don't know what the binary is called so you may have to change that.
