Replacing Macbook screen

I need to replace my screen. I have a 2.4ghz C2D. How do I know which screen to get? Can I install the LED screen instead of the LCD?

Take a look at iFixit. I just replaced my hard drive and their online guides are very helpful. They also sell the parts needed for each repair. See what they have and good luck!
