There's been no official announcement of the release time so it's anyone's guess. I'm sure previous versions of iOS have been around 1800 UK time (1000 Pacific?) but who knows.

I can't believe it, I've been excited about iOS 5 for so long now and I sold my iPhone 4 2 days ago as I've pre-ordered a 4S which won't be shipped for 1-2 weeks, noooooo!

Am in the UK at present and only got the 10.5 iTunes update last night
( Tuesday), so suspect that the iOS will be available here later tonight or early tomorrow.

All good things come to this that wait.

Anyone know what time the release of iOS 5 will happen? I'm in Australia and wondered if I'll be in bed when it happens

Im here to. As far as i know and the way the latest OSX Lion was released it will be the same time as the US. What time ??? Not sure but i could get Lion at 3am when it came out.
