Question about ipod touch shipping - general info

Hello,
I know for awhile the Ipad had a long shipping date. Now the ipods are due to ship next week. Will they most likely, as a "new" product, take time to arrive to you or if I order 2-3 day shipping, will it arrive in 2-3 days? I am only wondering because I am leaving the week after for a long trip and I want the Ipod Touch for it. And I am unsure how the shipping is when a new product comes out, upon release.

My guess would be depending on location that it could be here by Friday of next week, or the following Monday. I an anxious to get mine. I ordered as soon as the site came up this afternoon. :D

My location is east coast US. I'm not exactly sure where the ipods ship from, haha.

iPod touch should see no shipping delays, as it's simply not as huge of a demand as iPhone 4.
