Hi all:
I have a Land at home of one PPC (10.4.10) and one Pc (XP), conected by a router. Everything works ok, but when we start booth to play Wow his game works great but mine freaks out.
What is the problem?

Even sometimes my game logs out by itself but the game doesn´t crash so that makes me think that is a network problem.

Like a lag issue or something else? Do you have sufficient bandwidth?

Yes I have 4MB ADSL, it´s more than sufficient, because when we play Wow the msn, Amule, and all the network programs are closed in booth computers.
I was thinking that all the data from the Wow´s server comes from the same port for booth computers. Do you think that has something to do with that?

is yours the mac, or windows machine?
i've had the same type of issue, where the windows machine started to lag horribly and log out.
macs seem to have this incredible ability to take all of the bandwidth :p

I am going to take a WAG and say you may have a problem with the way your broadband router handles NAT (Network Address Translation). One solution may be to place the IP address of one of the systems in what is called the DMZ (often referred to as DMZ host on several broadband router settings tabs) and see if the problem doesn't clear up. Also make sure UPNP is enabled on your broadband router.

Try looking under NAT. LAN or WAN may also be options.

There is not.
Do you know what are the Wow ports, just to open them on my router.
