nope, locks solid, it will just have to sit there, And when OS X.5 comes out i'll have to do a format and reinstall

If you were running that Vista .iso in Parallels or Bootcamp, you may need to delete/ reinstall Parallels, or remove bootcamp... Just thinking out loud (visually :D)

Hi , No i just downloaded that file in order to make a bootable CD for a windows PC to test it out... Never let it even touch my G5 in Virtual PC

within terminal
\rm -r filename

Hi no i did not try that, but i have managed to kill off the file.
I booted from a firewire drive with OS X on it, deleted the file , then shut down
Booted from main drive, checked to see if file is not showing ( and it was not )
Then formated off the firewire drive that contains the strange file!!!

Phew .....

Well that was one heckuva toughy recalcitrant file! Never heard of a file that made such a mess of deletion attempts. Gotta take notes now...

At least glad your problem is solved, Adrian.

And it had to be a windows file!!!!! ( says me using a Sony Vaio on Vista!!! ) :black:
