Am reviewing the posibilities of using biometric authentication to logon locally on MacBooks, instead of using the default username/password combination.
Have found something on the forum here regarding PKCS11, but that is a dead-end.
Looked on the net and there is very little info available on what exactly the opportunities are for using biometrics on OS X 10.5.8 and higher.
With biometrics I mean a fingerprint ( or finger swipe ) on a USB powered fingerprint reader.
Are there any members who have experience with this or someone can point me in the right direction for more info ?
Much appreciated.
Cheers ... McBie
