Hey all, I'm having a heck of time with my new Mac Book Pro. None of the system settings are remembered what so ever. I'm running 10.5.2, 2.4ghz intel core 2 duo, 4gb ram. 32GB partitioned HD for Microsoft Windoze XP Pro, and parallels installed.
Let's just stay in the Mac OS for now. I'm going into the Mac HD and hit Apple+J, set always open to icon view, set icon size, snap to grid, and put a color in the background. Close the two windows, and restart the computer, and none of the settings are remembered when I go back to the main HD?
I repaired the permissions, but I think it's a corrupt file in the preferences, but I don't remember which one to throw away and restart? Help? Thanks in advance.
