Wow,razoredge, was my question so stupid that you had to respond like that…DuH! My first and last time on the Forum. Just wondered if someone knew the answer to my question. And you are a moderator?????

Raz0rEdge's reply was very creative & inexpensive.

How else would you ACTUALLY (also quickly & inexpensively) test if your iMac's external sound-out would work with a pair of external speakers (without actually having external speakers to test with)??

If you plug a cheap pair of headphones into the sound-out port/headphone port on your iMac...and it works...then you know that external speakers will also work just fine.

If you actually used 2 of your brain cells to ACTUALLY think about what Raz0rEdge recommended (before typing your nasty reply)...you would come to the same conclusion (great & simple idea)!

It wasn't your original question that was "stupid"...it was the fact that you didn't THINK...BEFORE replying.
