No S on the 4S

On the iPhone 4 it doesn't say iPhone 4, It simply says iPhone and thats what we all know an love Apple for! It's simple

i actually tell people mines just a 4 & then when next to them i tell it to send them a text saying "sucker"

So I tried a 4S at work briefly and they feel exactly the same. though to be fair i didnt try any apps.
