Requirements are always propaganda. I've never seen a game which would run well on the listed minimums.
You speak of propaganda as though they're trying to sway somebody politically - the requirements are statements of what is required to execute the program. It will always run much better on a machine with better equipment

Yes, but you see his point don't you. The minimum rarely gives you a satisfactory experience with the software in question. I mean yeah, maybe the program will actually load if you only have a P3 and 128 of RAM but it rarely is usable for the intended purpose. Some software companies relly seem to push the limit of "minimum requirements' just to sell a few more units. Obviously people more familiar with computers know this but an awful lot of people who don't spend much time on computer forums or reading computer magazines go buy software based on what the box claims is necessary and (go figure) expect it to run well.

:| I think they should list RECOMMENDED equipment more often than they do to avoid the confusion. Anyway, has anyone else seen how these games fare on 32MB of RAM?

Well guys, I'm pretty set on the ibook because I can't seem to justify the price of the powerbook. I was wondering if the screen of the 12" ibook is the same as the 12" powerbook, like brightness, contrast, quality.

There are no differences between the two screens - both are the same resolution
