My Leopard was not showing Windows machines, but relaunching Finder fixed it immediately.

It seems that re-applying the Combo Update corrects this problem 100%. I've tried force quitting the Finder several times, with no success...

Anyway, thanks for your feedback!

Missing Windows Computers in Shared

I have a Netgear router that has 2 SSIDs one for the 2.4GHz b/g/n network and another for the 5GHz a/n network. When connected to the 5GHz network none of my Windows machines show up under the SHARED heading in Finder, when connected over 2.4 GHz, they immediately show up...

Is it possible the people that are experiencing problems are on a A/N 5GHz network and are seeing the same behavior as I am?

At the time those comments were posted (1 to 3 years ago) I don't think the shared A/N networks were availble from most wireless routers.
