Need Help in Choosing a New Macbook Pro!

Hey Guys,

So i want to upgrade my laptop which is an old Dell i bought around 2010/2011.

My choices were the MBP 2015 13" or the MBP 2016 13" with no touch bar.
I'll be video editing(not hardcore) and programming/testing mostly. The thing is i want to use the laptop i get for another 4 years atleast, and i want to make sure that i make the right decision. I really dont mind the dongles/adapters for the new macbook pro.

So i just want to get an opinion from you guys.

Here are a few questions i have :
1. Is the Macbook pro 2016 (without the touch bar) more powerful than the 2015 13" Macbook pro?
2. Is the Macbook pro 2016 (without the touch bar) more future proof than the 2015 13" Macbook pro?
3. Opinions on the processors of the two machines(2.0 ghz dual core 6thgen vs 2.7ghz dual core 5thgen)

The only exception in your case may be external device compatibility, it certainly was a decider in my case. The 2015 13" MBPr was my most recent choice because of the ports.
