At this stage OP if you go the OWC route you do not need Trim. There SSD's have their own 'SandForce' garbage collection system and Trim can even have detrimental effects on the drive.

Thanks for the advice at this point I am just sticking with HD, being that this is my first MAc since my iBook G4 I don't think the speed will make a difference this machine is already 10x faster than my Sony Vaio plus like someone said above the price I feel will only get lower.

Prices have come down on Solid State Drives but not as quickly as some would want. However, I remember back when I paid $500.00 for a 1 GB hard drive for my tower PC, but I also remember when a new automobile could be purchased for less than $10,000! ;D

Lol yeah when I was in Afghanistan two years ago I remember freaking out because they had 1TB WD Passport External Hard Drives for $70. No one understood what I was talking about until we got back to the states 9 months later and they were back to $140.
